About Lauren

Lauren Sternberg is a junior biology and philosophy double major and honors minor at SUNY Geneseo. She is very involved in scientific research on campus, as she has conducted experiments testing different cancer therapies, as well as investigating plant genomics. Additionally, Lauren participates in the Philosophy Outreach Program which travels to local high schools to teach basic philosophical problems and encourage the field of study. As a member of the honors college, she has had the opportunity to take classes in music, art, and now censorship. Lauren has enhanced her website design skills and knowledge of censorship and literature through COPLAC.

In her spare time, Lauren enjoys horseback riding, cooking, and snuggling with her adorable dog, Lucky. Her favorite activity is traveling to new places. So far, Lauren’s preferred destination is Maui, Hawaii, and she hopes to live there someday.
