The banned book case investigated on this site is from November and December of 2016 in regards to the novel, To Kill a Mockingbird. Along with The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, the book was removed from Nandua High School classrooms and library shelves when a complaint was made about the use of foul language in both novels. Through careful investigation we found information about the county, the complaint, a petition that was created, and a protest that was held in front of the courthouse trying to get the books back on the shelves.
