All projects start somewhere. This one started with a contract.

The contract is a document that details the original plan for the website’s design, content, and creation schedule; it also lists the digital tools used to create this website.1

Although some aspects of the site are different from the original plan, the contract is a great way to explore how The Floatplane Project came to be.
