Max is a senior psychology major at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma who aspires to go to graduate school and become a hypnotherapist. He is an Oklahoma native who had not heard of the Tulsa challenge of Catcher in the Rye, and was thus interested in bringing this portion of the state’s history to light. Max has completed a course which encouraged journalistic practices, giving him the desire to hear as many sides to a story as possible.

In his spare time, Max manages a personal website and writes fiction stories.

Portions of the website Max was specifically responsible for include the StoryMap, interview audios and transcriptions, gathering newspaper articles from the Tulsa City-County Library to be used as research and the background of the website, and narrating the political contexts of the United States and Oklahoma.
