About the Researchers

Cara Forbes

Cara is a senior English major with a minor in United States Ethnic Studies who is set to graduate from UNC-Asheville in December 2018. She freelances as a publicity and marketing assistant for authors. Cara took the course since a digital humanities class combining studies in book censorship with technology sounded like the perfect way to wrap up her major with a practical liberal arts application.  Blog 

Rosanna Garris

Rosanna is a sophomore Chemistry Major with a Neuroscience Minor at UNC-Asheville. She works as a Teacher’s Assistant with the Chemistry Department and hopes to pursue a career in medicine. She decided to take this class to explore how people view books and how the books that children and adolescents read, and how they are presented with impact them.  Blog
